Confident Birthing Upcoming Classes and Workshops

Confident Birthing is a Lamaze-inspired childbirth education series driven by the philosophy that women instinctively know how to birth their babies and are best able to cope when surrounded by supportive and encouraging care givers.

Confident Birthing
classes focus on the normalcy of pregnancy and birth, the partner's experience of the birth process and labor & birth from the perspective of the newborn. We will practice positions and comfort techniques that support normal birth and give you the tools for making decisions with your care provider for the best possible experience.

Confident Birthing offers Early Pregnancy & Childbirth Classes as well as interactive workshops. Classes are taught by Angi Gunther, a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Birth Doula, and mother of three. In addition to teaching Confident Birthing classes at Nurture, Angi teaches Childbirth Education for Providence Health & Services.

Our next 3-week childbirth series begins February 20th at Nurture in NE Portland. $125 per couple. Contact confidentbirth@gmail.com to register.

Confident Birthing presents Why Natural Birth? a workshop to discuss the advantages of natural birth for mother and baby. $25 per couple. Please contact Angi Gunther at confidentbirth@gmail.com for upcoming dates.
