Free Menstrual Cycle Talk by Silke Akerson

Silke Akerson, a midwife here at Nurture, is giving a free talk about the menstrual cycle called Getting to Know Your Cycle.

Join her at the Herb Shoppe (3327 SE Hawthorne) on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:15pm.

Listening to your own menstrual cycle is a key way of hearing what your body is communicating both in times of health and in times of imbalance. It is also a powerful tool for pregnancy prevention or promotion.
In this information-packed evening I will cover basic physiology of the menstrual cycle and methods for understanding and tracking your own cycles.

Silke Akerson is a midwife, herbalist, and mother with a passion for connecting people with plants and with their own self-knowledge for healing.
