Weekly acupuncture and/or shiatsu treatments can help manage stress, relieve pain, and address virtually any ailment by bringing your body into balance. In Chinese medicine, Springtime is seen as the season of the Liver and a good time to make changes that bring more movement and energy into your life.

Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork that is based on the same healing philosophy as Chinese medicine. By accessing energy through the body's meridians, Shiatsu is able to naturally help restore balance in the body, relieve pain and stress, and create lasting change emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I am hoping to increase this style of treatment in my practice in conjunction with my new position as an instructor of Shiatsu bodywork at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

At Cascadia Birth Services we offer the best in postpartum care: lactation support, newborn and sibling care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, all delivered with compassion and non-judgmental support.

For the month of December, we are offering gift certificates for a three-hour postpartum session, for only $40. Certificates can be printed at home, or we can print and mail them to the special mama in your life for no extra charge. Certificates have no expiration date, so they can be saved as long as you like! The certificates may also be applied towards an 8-hour overnight session.
