VBAC Information

VBAC stands for a Vaginal Birth After Cesarean. If you are thinking about or have decided to pursue a VBAC, Nurture would like to offer you two resources to support your decision.

VBAC.com is a comprehensive, evidence-based site for both mothers and care providers.

ICAN is the International Cesarean Awareness Network. This site internationally recognized for both its advocacy and education.

For healthy mothers with low-risk pregnancies, a VBAC can often be a safe alternative to a repeat Cesarean. If your care provider refuses to allow you to birth vaginally, get a second opinion. Do all the research you can and listen to your body and baby's wishes.
